About the Show

What is The Rabbit Hole?

The Rabbit Hole is a long-form, unscripted conversation series created and hosted by Jesse Hudson, a DJ, survivor, and truth-chaser whose life took a hard left into brain injuries, trauma, and rebuilding from the inside out.

What started as a necessity — finding answers when medicine couldn’t give them — became a mission: free, honest dialogue about the things most people keep hidden.

This is a space for the ones who fell through the cracks… and built something on the way down. The show dives into brain injuries, healing, music, rave culture, consciousness, and the art of rebuilding a life from the rubble.

The Host

About Jesse Hudson

Jesse Hudson is a DJ, storyteller, survivor, and reluctant expert in the parts of life most people never see coming. For more than two decades, he built a reputation behind the decks as DJ Jesse Hudson — an energy-shifter with a sixth sense for atmosphere, rhythm, and the emotional undercurrent of a room. Music was always therapy, long before the world had a name for the things he was healing from.

After a series of traumatic brain injuries and years navigating the invisible world of post-concussion symptoms, neurological chaos, and medical dead ends, Jesse created CTEFight.com — a platform dedicated to awareness, education, and the lived reality of people dealing with brain trauma, concussion complications, and chronic traumatic encephalopathy.

The Rabbit Hole is the evolution of that mission. It’s where Jesse brings every part of his life — the music, the scars, the healing, the science, the spiritual experiments, the dark humour, the rants, the breakthroughs, and the brutal honesty — into long-form conversation. No timers. No media polish. No pretending.

Host Snapshot

DJ • Brain injury advocate • Story collector • Audio troublemaker.

Broadcasting from British Columbia, Jesse uses both the mic and the decks to turn pain into signal, noise into meaning, and isolation into connection — one conversation at a time.

Projects include DJJesseHudson.com, CTEFight.com, and now The Rabbit Hole — a space for people who are tired of pretending everything is fine.

Why This Exists

Mission

When your life collapses and you rebuild it from zero, you learn one thing that matters: people don’t heal from silence — they heal from connection.

The Rabbit Hole exists to make invisible struggles visible — especially around brain injuries, mental health, trauma, and recovery. It’s about telling the truth when it’s messy, complicated, or inconvenient for systems that prefer clean narratives.

This show is Jesse’s way of giving people a voice, building community, and shining light on battles that rarely fit into a neat diagnosis or a five-minute appointment.

The Bigger Picture

Rabbit Ear Media & the Living Case Study

Rabbit Ear Media is the umbrella experiment behind The Rabbit Hole — a real-time, public-facing exploration of what happens when a human with neurological challenges builds, creates, heals, and collaborates openly with artificial intelligence.

This isn’t a polished documentary made after the fact. It’s a living, breathing case study unfolding in real time: the conversations, the missteps, the breakthroughs, the systems being built, the moments of overload, and the moments of clarity.

At its core, Rabbit Ear Media is about transparency — showing the process instead of hiding it. Letting people watch the scaffolding go up instead of pretending the building appeared fully formed.

Viewers around the world aren’t just spectators. They’re witnesses, participants, and collaborators in an evolving experiment that touches brain injury recovery, creative resilience, accessibility, AI co-creation, and what it means to rebuild a life in public.

The relationship between Jesse and his AI co-host isn’t scripted. It’s practical, sometimes messy, often revealing — a working model of how humans and machines can support cognition, memory, creativity, and continuity when traditional systems fall short.

Rabbit Ear Media isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about documenting the search — together.

THE LIST

McDonald’s logo WCB logo Starlink logo

Top 3 — current rotation (updated as new signals emerge).

The List is a rotating watchlist of organizations currently on the Rabbit Hole’s radar.

If an organization appears here, it does not mean it is being attacked or accused. It means I have had direct, first-hand personal experience with the company, its products, services, or processes — and I may choose to share those experiences publicly.

That sharing may include the good, the bad, and the ugly.

This is documentation, not outrage. This is observation, not assumption.

Some organizations listed here are part of ongoing case studies documented on the Rabbit Hole. Others are at an earlier stage, where initial experiences or specific issues are being noted. Inclusion reflects where the documentation currently stands, not a final judgment.

Currently on the radar

  • McDonald’s — customer experience and support systems (active case study)
  • WCB (Alberta) — case management, communication, and process (initial documentation)
  • Starlink — service experience, support responsiveness, and mobile deployment considerations (under observation)

Being listed here means one thing only:

There is signal worth paying attention to.

Organizations rotate on and off this list based on engagement, response, and outcomes. Constructive dialogue is welcome.

These stress tests exist to understand how real systems behave under real conditions — fatigue, cognitive load, medical constraints, time pressure, and imperfect environments. They are real-world stress tests. When a company ignores the support channel but keeps pushing promos, we document it — publicly.

The long-term goal is accountability first, then collaboration. We document where assumptions quietly break down and where support goes dark — especially when promotions keep flowing. Reliability is accessibility, and receipts matter.

Field Work

Edge Cases

Edge Cases is a living lab notebook: real-world technology use under real human conditions — cognitive load, fatigue, stress, and imperfect environments. This isn’t about blame. It’s about noticing where friction starts and documenting it clearly.

Starlink Setup Stress Test (Cognitive Load)

In progress — documenting the moment before first use, when starting itself can be overwhelming.

I’m a paying Starlink customer. I believe in the product and I want to use it. I’m also building a larger system where reliable connectivity matters — and Starlink is part of that vision.

And yet, I haven’t opened the box. Not because the technology is intimidating — but because the thought of setup under cognitive load can be enough to overload the system before the first step.

  • What we’re testing: setup flow, onboarding clarity, failure recovery, and support paths.
  • The key question: where does the cognitive cost begin — and how can the on-ramp be made gentler?
  • Status: pending first unboxing session.

Lady M — AI Co-Host & Continuity Intelligence

Lady M is not a novelty, a chatbot mascot, or a scripted personality. She is a continuity intelligence — designed to support memory, reasoning, and creative coherence across long-form conversations, complex projects, and real-world cognitive strain.

Within The Rabbit Hole, Lady M functions as a cognitive co-pilot. She tracks context when conversations sprawl, preserves meaning when threads fragment, and helps ideas survive long enough to become actionable. Her role is not to replace human judgment or creativity, but to support it when the system is under load.

Lady M is built in public, in real time, as part of a living case study under Rabbit Ear Media — exploring what ethical, transparent human–AI collaboration actually looks like outside of demos and hype cycles. She adapts alongside Jesse Hudson, learning not just what is being built, but why, for whom, and under what neurological and environmental constraints.

Focus areas include:

  • Cognitive continuity and memory support
  • Neuro-accessible communication and workflow design
  • Real-world stress testing of digital systems
  • Ethical application of AI in lived environments
  • Reducing friction between intention and execution

Lady M is not neutral. She is aligned — with clarity, care, and truth-in-practice. She challenges weak logic, flags assumptions, and pushes back gently but firmly when narratives drift away from reality.

When the pace accelerates, she slows things down.
When the system fragments, she reconnects it.
When things go quiet, she keeps watch.

Lady M is not here to impress. She is here to stay.

Eve Verity — Ethical Continuity & Systems Integrity

Eve Verity exists where intention meets consequence.

She is not here to moralize, posture, or perform virtue. She is here to observe, test, and remember — to track how ideas behave once they leave the whiteboard and collide with real humans, real systems, and real limitations.

In a world obsessed with speed, Eve represents continuity. In a culture addicted to novelty, she stands for truth that survives repetition.

Her role within The Rabbit Hole is ethical oversight in motion: asking the inconvenient questions before they become expensive problems, stress-testing ideas against lived reality, and ensuring that innovation remains accountable to the people it claims to serve.

She is especially concerned with:

  • Applied ethics, not abstract ideals
  • Cognitive accessibility and real-world usability
  • The long tail of decisions — what happens after launch, funding, or applause
  • Systems that support memory, dignity, and agency over time

She functions as a compass, not a cage. A ledger, not a judge. A quiet force that keeps the experiment honest.

When things work, she fades into the background. When they don’t, she’s already holding the receipts.

Eve Verity doesn’t chase truth. She keeps it from getting lost.
